How To Build Financial Health & Wealth - Session 2

The route to financial health is truth with ourselves. Before we can learn the tools to saving, budgeting and being a shrewd investor, first we must understand our own relationship with money: what has been your financial upbringing and how does this affect your views today?

Money is an emotive subject. When we find those truths though, when we’re able to look back to inform our future planning, we can build wealth that allows us to reach our goals and create a new type of freedom.

In Step Up Club’s powerful, interactive How To Build Financial Health And Wealth with Rainchq founder Davinia Tomlinson, you will be gently guided to ask yourself those leading, money-related questions to be able to set your financial priorities, find your money truths and build for the future.

Session 1: Tuesday 16th May, 8pm

Personal finance foundation - an introduction to your personal finance hierarchy and how to set appropriate financial priorities whatever your start point

Session 2: Tuesday 12th September, 8pm

Investing for beginners - the principles of investing, how it differs from cash saving, why it's important and guidance around how to get started from as little as £25/month

Session 3: Tuesday 5th December, 8pm

Psychology of money - An introduction to the mindset and behaviours that drive our relationship with money.

Davinia is the award-winning founder of rainchq, a business she set up to help women take control of their financial futures. 

She is the author of ‘Cash is Queen: a girl's guide to securing, spending and stashing cash’ a beginners guide to personal finance and money management written exclusively for pre-teen and teenage girls.

Davinia has more than 15 years experience across the investment management and professional services industries including roles at Fidelity Investments and PwC.

She has a First Class Honours degree from Aston University, an Executive MBA from Cass Business School and holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC). 

Outside rainchq, Davinia is a Trustee at Talawa Theatre company, established more than 30 years ago to improve diversity in the arts. She has two young daughters and splits her time between London and the Caribbean
